bed-office / office-bed
the name says it all. much like domestic workers, many freelancers spend a lot of time doing work inside a house – their own. hence, bed-office/office-bed. the ideas of working extra hours and working overtime become complicated, even irrelevant, if the boundaries between home space and work space blur and collapse. hard at work or hardly working or always somewhere in between. not quite sleeping at night and not quite productive during the day. is this what they mean by “horizontal” ways of working?
