these images share the conviviality engendered by the common domestic cooperative activity of cooking. whether preparing dinner for family or cocktails for a party, be it in the context of activism or an ordinary meal, cooperation is a great source of knowledge- and labor-sharing involving informal educational processes. it also infers a shared investment in equality. the images in this category show cooperation happening spontaneously, gaining in momentum and out of necessity (mountain of dishes), but also during planned group actions and social activities. the meaningful question becomes: what modes of cooperation take place on a daily basis in other domestic spaces, that we may not otherwise recognize?
